Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before buying — file formats, licensing, refunds, and what these tools are (and aren't) built to do.

What format are these tools delivered in?

Every tool is delivered as a working Excel file (.xlsx) that also opens cleanly in Google Sheets. All formulas, formatting, and charts are fully functional in both — no add-ons or plugins required.

Do I need to know Excel or Google Sheets well to use these?

No. Every tool includes a guided "Start Here" tab with step-by-step instructions, and a clear color system (yellow cells for your inputs, white cells are calculated automatically) so you always know exactly what to enter and what to leave alone.

Is this a subscription?

No. Every Platform20 tool is a one-time purchase. You own the file outright and can use it for as long as you'd like, with no recurring fees.

What's your refund policy?

All sales are final. Because every tool is a digital product delivered instantly and in full, and because every listing includes detailed screenshots of every tab before you buy, you can review exactly what you're getting before purchasing — so we don't offer refunds after delivery.

Can I use these for multiple businesses or clients?

Each purchase is licensed for use within a single business. If you're a consultant, bookkeeper, or advisor looking to use our tools across multiple clients, reach out and we can discuss options.

Are these tools kept up to date with current rules and thresholds?

Yes. Tools tied to specific thresholds or rules (like our 1099 and Sales Tax Nexus trackers) are built around the current year's requirements and noted accordingly. Always confirm your specific situation with a tax or financial professional before filing.

Is this tax, legal, or financial advice?

No. Our tools are organizational and planning aids designed to help you track and understand your numbers. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed accountant, tax professional, or financial advisor.
